Natural Quartzite Azul Wall Cladding – Natural Bronze, Natural Azure, and Natural Bicolor

Bring authenticity, elegance, and modernity to your walls with Natural Quartzite Azul Wall Cladding. Available in three refined shades, this cladding transforms both interior and exterior spaces with its unique natural hues and exceptional durability.

Three Shades for Every Style

  • Natural Bronze: warm, earthy tones that provide authenticity and visual comfort.
  • Natural Azure: bright blue shades for a contemporary and original look.
  • Natural Bicolor: a subtle blend of blue and brown for a unique and decorative effect.

These three variations allow you to personalize your projects and create light and texture effects on your walls, suitable for contemporary, rustic, or classic styles.

Dimensions and Format of Quartzite Azul

  • Format: Opus Incertum
  • Thickness: 2.5 – 3 cm
  • Coverage: 6 to 14 pieces per m² (may vary depending on stone sizes)
  • Sold by: square meter
For dry-lay installation, allow 25% extra material to compensate for cuts and irregularities. For jointed installation, follow the spacing observed in the delivered palette.

Properties of Quartzite Azul

Quartzite Azul is a natural material that combines strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal:

  • Resistance: withstands impacts, temperature changes, and frost.
  • Durability: maintains color and texture over time.
  • Unique aesthetic: natural hues create stunning light and texture effects on walls.

Applications

  • Interior walls: living rooms, kitchens, fireplaces.
  • Exterior walls and garden walls.
  • Decorative projects: contemporary, rustic, or modern styles.

Installation Tips

  1. Use a suitable mortar-adhesive for natural stone on vertical surfaces, indoors and outdoors.
  2. Ensure the substrate is prepared according to local standards (D.T.U.) before installation.
  3. Distribute stones of different sizes for a harmonious and natural look.

Dry-Stone Style – Butt Joint Installation

For a natural and authentic appearance, the Quartzite Azul wall cladding can be installed butt joint with a very fine empty joint, mimicking a dry-stone wall.

  • Very fine joint: leave a 1 to 3 mm gap between each stone.
  • Visual effect: this small gap highlights the stone’s natural relief and color variations.
  • Style: perfect for achieving a modern yet rustic look, similar to traditional dry-stone walls.

💡 Tip:

  • This method does not necessarily require a filled joint, but applying a protective water-repellent is recommended to preserve colors and ease maintenance.
  • Ideal for interior and exterior walls, façades, and garden walls, maintaining the natural charm of the stone.

How to choose the one best suited to your project?

Our comparator is based on tests, technical data sheets, and our experience in order to identify the advantages of the best natural limestone materials according to their destinations and uses.

For your information: Marble, marble-like stones, cut stone, and all other types of rock are natural materials that may contain wormholes, crystalline veins, flames, glass-like inclusions, geodes, shells, knots, spots commonly called "toadstools," strata, rust spots, and variations in shade—all characteristics of the stone that contribute to its beauty. These characteristics do not compromise its strength and should not be considered defects or justify refusal or a price reduction.

Here are some tips for choosing a natural stone:

  • Verify the physical existence of the supplier by visiting its showrooms, warehouses, order preparation locations and checking stock levels.
  • Request samples of the stone before placing an order. This will allow you to see the color, texture, and quality of the stone in person.
  • Be careful with the names and terms used on commercial items and displayed on the web. Commercial names generally hide the identity and origin of the stones, simply to avoid comparisons and competition.
  • Read reviews, but beware of fake ones, before choosing a provider. This will give you a good idea of the quality of customer service and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Compare prices from different suppliers before placing an order. This will help you find the best possible price for the natural stone you are looking for.

If you follow these tips, you are sure to find a reliable natural stone supplier who can meet your needs.
